Well my usual luck with auction catalogs is still holding true. In the mail today, I just got my DNW catalog for the 12/14 auction.

You really confused me there, i thought hang on 14th month? (I always read a / as 'of' or 'of the' so 12 of the 14th gave me a shock).

Then i remembered you guys write it the other way around!

We Yanks usually do Month/Day/Year, and everytime I am in Europe I have to adjust my thinking cap, especially when you hit like the 30th Month....

I got my mine a few weeks ago and was very disappointed in the Conder offerings. I did not even bid.

I bid on one lot through the website that had three pieces I needed, but I didn't get it. Now ten days later, I get to see what I missed.

How effective is it, dealing with a British auction house? I find European auctions to be prohibitive, especially with the poor exchange rate.
