Can't sleep cos I want to open up all my presents.....
I'm just curious.....what do you guys spend annually
on grading? I was going over my figures, and it looks
like 7K for me this year.....yikes! PSA got most of it; then GAI
at the beginning of the year, and some to SGC.

That's impressive! I assume you are selling on ebay?
If I spent that much on grading alone, my wife would shoot me! I'm curious to how much I spent last year period. I know it is more than my wife would be happy about. She's a good sport to a point.
You have a Merry Christmas!

on this stuff. Mike, I only sell my doubles and anything that comes back less than a 10. I'm a collector/buyer first. Okay, I better go to bed now. I hear Santa on my roof. Merry Christmas to all!

I'm just plain lazy...I have had a stack of star cards and 1960 and 59T baseball commons laying in a pile to send out for 9 months! Also, have 15 items to send to PSA/DNA! Maybe I can get my wife to help.LOL
I hope everyone is having a great day...I'm sitting here with a cold Bud and fried shrimp for lunch!
Cheers!

<< <i>I paid to have one card graded this year and included it in a shipment with another person's submission. I almost entirely buy the already graded product. >>
I know your way is much more cost effective, but it is SO MUCH FUN to submit and have your own grading eye tested. Maybe this will wear off when the newness of it all goes away.

me too.....
...............but I can say it cost someone around 3k to grade the cards I purchased this year.
I added about 200 cards to my graded collection this year, but all were purchased already graded. I do plan to join in 2005 and at least submit the 7 "free" ones.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and the upcoming bowl games.

I wonder how much DSL and 4sharpcorners spend in a year.
You may want to redo the math?

I don't like fish tacos though.
I thought for sure there would be some that spent way more than
I did on here. I had over 8 bulk submissions with PSA with orders between 100 - 200 cards. The last one was the Nov. special which had 205 cards. You figured at the bulk rate of $6 per card.
I also did a semi large one with SGC for reg. submission and I also did 3 cross-over subs with them.
I spent about 1k with GAI at the beginning of the year, but haven't used them since. All this is just on grading fees alone; not from buying graded cards or raw material. That's a whole new area. I think I need help. Cards anonymous?

Here is something else you can do with 7K!
