After deciding yesterday to crack out all of my Indians yesterday and putting them back in the old Whitman folder, I decided to start reimaging many of them. Well, I got on a roll today, taking pictures and manipulating images watching the unusual light snows fall down on Houston, and I'm *almost* done with displaying my virtual XF/AU Flying Eagle and Indian cent collection. I have all obverses up in my collection (all dates except for 1909-S are included, which is the only non-variety I'm missing aside from the 1856 Fleagle), and all reverses up through and including 1891.
This is the result of more than 30 years of collecting, at first from G and VG duplicates in my dad's collection, to saving up my allowance for Fine and VF pieces a few years later, to finally beginning to upgrade to full XF/AU (though I still want to upgrade a handful).
The Flying Eagles are here, and the Indians are here.
I'd like to thank all the dealers and collectors who helped me get this far. Most of the best dates were picked up from Rick Snow (Eagle Eye), JJ Teaparty and at local coin shows. Among other dealers, a few of the nice later-date XF and AU coins came from Chuck D'Ambra; though all were bought sight unseen with nothing more than Chuck's grade, I was not disappointed with a single one. The 1877, actually, I won at an eBay auction in early July (for less than VF-20 money in an XF-40 NGC holder).

your set is looking good! I imagine it is much easier to photograph
without the glare of the plastic shell in the way!

1870 Pick Axe is my favorites in your collection, I honestly believe you are being to hard on this one by calling it a XF-45.
1908S is a knockout, very clean and sharp.
1886 type 2, Very nice, and I believe to be a very underated coin. Especially when you consider them in grades AU-MS, I feal they are tougher then even the 08s
1877 Do I even need to explain why That one is nice.
1859 Very nice coin, nice feather detail.
1869 I love the obv of this coin- looks as if there is still plenty of red hidden near the devices on the left side.
Congrats again a putting to gather a very attactive set.
