Stupid AOL Ebay Banner!

I remember seeing it posted here before - how did I get stuck with this stupid AOL banner across my Ebay page again? I am NOT on AOL (is anyone anymore?). Talk about annoying advertising - anyone have a way to remove it?

    I'm not that familiar with AOL, but are you accessing eBay through an old link in your Favourites, or do you see the banner even if you type www.ebay.com into the Address line?

    If the former, try updating your shortcut.

    If the latter, you may need to delete a cookie or two.

    Thanks - I think that did it. I am not on AOL, but for some reason, when I access the site via a link in my favorites, I get "AOL presents Ebay". Seems to have gone away now.

    That was happening to me last week and then it stopped.Not sure why it started in the first place??
