Deceased grandfather's coins

I was recently moving a dresser so that I can get behind it to reach
an outlet when I noticed something shiny near the wall. I reached
around and picked up a well worn Franklin half dollar. It occurred to
me that about a year ago I had handled a bunch of these when my
wife brought me a box of coin her grandfather had left her years ago.
She asked me to keep these as they had great sentimental value.
I had been about seven years since he had passed away and she
was very close with him. In fact the she had been planning on seeing
him the weekend when she found out he died. It was the weekend
before Christmas and she was travelling back home to see the family.
I put the coin in my pocket and carried it around that day, not really
thinking about it. Towards the evening I left the coin on the kitchen
counter with all the rest of the stuff I drop off at the end of the day.
My wife, walking by the counter, caught sight of the coin. There was
a look of shock and on her face. She asked me, her voice trembling,
if I had left the coin there. I said, yep, I found it upstairs behind the
dresser.
She turned white as a sheet and told me that she had a dream her
grandfather had visited her and that she was thinking about him and
the half-dollars, he would hand out to all the grandkids during the
holidays.
I explained to her that a year ago I was going through the box of coins
she had given me and that one probably dropped on the floor and
found its way behind the dresser.
