Are die clashes and die cracks grade limiting?

I recently purchased a very nice $3 in PCGS AU-53. Admittedly, I have trouble differentiating the various choice AUs (53 from 55 and 55 from 58) in this series, but I would have thought this coin to be a AU-55. I do not care to challenge the grading process--it's a scarce coin and a nice, original coin, and that's all I really care about.
Upon close inspection, I noticed some die clash lines and a single die crack. These are not immediately obvious and do not detract from the overall eye appeal. Personally, I think these add to the charm of the coin. From a technical grading standpoint, can these marks be grade limiting?
Thanks and happy holidays!

Hi Robert,
Minor Die clashes and/or cracks are not considered a negative and don't really effect grade.
Don't feel bad about having a difficult time with the difference between 53 and 55. I have a hard time with those grades too!
Thanks,
David
