Not so good coins and submitting

I know it would not be worth the effort to submit a Good or VG common date to PCGS but what about semi keys such as a 1917 S obverse Walker in Good or VG? I am seriously considering submitting my raw MS Walkers to have graded. Is there a risk in submitting raw that I know would fetch an MS grade or should I buy PCGS slabs and re submit to get the most out of it.

Sometimes I submit coins that I know are money losers when I'm trying to learn grading in new series.

Sometimes, I'll submit problem coins to ANACS for net grading. That way I don't risk giving them away. Even a real poor net sometimes will do ok when I sell it.
