grades back from ANACS

Afew interesting coins:

Australia 1920 Shilling EF40 (a slightly better date)

Ireland 1822 1/2 d MS60

Ireland 1935 1/2 d MS64 BROWN

Ireland 1935 1 d MS63 BROWN

Prussia 1876-A 5 Mark EF40

Britain 1845 Shilling AU55

Britain 1824 6d MS62

French Colonies 1825-A 5 Cent AU55 (A VERY NICE COIN)

French Colonies 1828-a 10 Cent AU53

I like the two French coins...

No real surprises... no real disppointments which is fine. It is hard to believe that is Post# 4000 which is not all that many considering some others such as the Dead King, LordM and of course Askari

The '35 Irish 1/2d in MS64 BN is certainly nothin' to sneeze at! image

I think I made MS63 BN on one I submitted to ANACS.

No real surprises... no real disppointments which is fine.

I recently received a choice GB 1887 5 Pounds gold piece back from ANACS graded MS-61. I promptly de-slabbed it with my trusty band saw and re-submitted it and on this go round it came back MS-63. This was the proper grade all along (I felt) but I'm out two fees to get it right. Oh well, better than if they graded it 61 again!
