Cinema Stars 1934

I received this set today and it looks great! How can ya go wrong for 2 bucks a card!
This set is listed as Cinema Stars - a series of 30 - hand colored pictures - Army Club Cigarettes - Cavanders Ltd.
(excerpt)
Cavanders "Army Club" cigarettes in 1934. It is suspect that it was issued slightly earlier. There are clues - Vilma Banky is noted as having been voted most popular actress in 1927. Early talkies such as "The Jazz Singer" and "The Ghost Train" (1928) are mentioned. Dolores Del Rio was born in 1904 and we are told she married for the second time at the age of 26 - which takes us to 1930. (Incidentally, another Dolores, Dolores Costello was married to John Barrymore). But there the date clues run out, except by omission - for instance Bebe Daniels' prominent role in "42nd Street" is not included in her list, so we're going to stick our necks out and suggest this set dates from around 1932, and certainly pre-October 1933 because no review ever appeared in Card Collectors News, which began publication that month. Strangely, Esther Ralston appears twice in the set - at numbers 10 and 29 - both with exactly the same texts but different portraits. Why? This set leaves many questions unanswered and could provide film buffs with a lot of research opportunities!

This is one of the better sets I have picked up and the pic of Fay Wray, Myrna Loy are great. Also, Mary Astor was one of the wealthiest actresses in Hollywood!
thanx for looking

How 'bout showing a back or two?
"All evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing."
I thought it looked very familiar. Look how similar it is to the 1934 Godfrey Phillips Cinema Stars Set.
And for Mark, here are some reverses. However, my scanner just cant get them crystal clear. Im going to have to figure that out. Maybe if you squint or use your loupe. Sorry.
Mine are very close to Keith's cards - so the guess? Same printer...different cigarette company or maybe they are all related?

I saw that there are only a couple of common people in the set.
Mike- Is your Delores Del Rio a vertical or horizontal card? In my set its horizontal. Just curious.
