His business has annual sales of $50M, and all he did was Chapter 11 which means it still operates... I would imagine he could be back on his feet in a very short time span. He did not file for personal bankruptcy, so the sale of the balls would be only because he chooses to do so.

The guy could pay 15Mil cash to that bozo. claiming bankruptcy is just a strategy.

Todd McFarlane is worth well in excess of that amount. Bankruptcy is for the publisher to avoid paying the creditors.

If the McGwire ball ever goes up for sale, I'm sure someone would pay over $100,000 for the darn thing.
  • My question is will McFarlane stop or cut down on their sports action figures. They seem to have produce a lot of product compared to the old Starting Lineup and many of them (including entertainment/movie figures) are just collecting dust on the shelf. IMHO, I always thought Todd had an ego (when he was still doing comics) and I don't feel any sympathy for him.
