1966 SMS 5c Error?

I found this nickel in a SMS set. It looks like a strike thru error. Does anyone know what it might be and is it worth getting slabbed. Does it have any value? I don't know diddly about errors. Thanks Dave

Not much, and no. This type of stuff is pretty common on SMS coins.

But the coins I have that exhibit this type of struck thru gunk were on cameo coins. Yours seems to have little contrast.
This will not be considered an error by the TPG's and will get knocked down a couple of points as well.
