removing slab glue?

I have 2 slabs where the glue is welded to the slab. A couple of months ago I tried lighter fluid but unfortunately it put a permanent film on the poor slab. What do you suggest I use?

After reading my post I realized it wasn't to clear. No pun intended. What do I use to get the glue off the slabs I haven't messed with?

An Exacto Knife, some Goo Gone, and some patience.

I believe googone helps remove glue? Anyone know about this stuff?

ah, ok. For glue residue from stickers and such, I use a product called "uni-solvent"

They don't use glue. They sonically seal them. What you are seeing is plastic after it melted and cooled down again.

Ahh. I see you meant stickers. Goo gone is all you need. Takes just a couple of minutes to work.
