Good morning darkside friends! Please take a look at this NGC slab

Good morning all!!! I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is up with this NGC slab this sellers has for sale. In the reverse of the slab it looks damaged around the area the holds the coin. Do you think it was tampered with or just a bad slab?

I think its a bad slab, since the chip seems to be out of the white inner lining.

I thought it was a bad slab myself. I passed on it - too many possible questions about it later on.

I've never seen that on a slab before. You could always get the coin re-slabbed. It doesn't appear to have adversely affected the coin, though.

That happens from time to time on coins which are tight fits within the slab. Never seen it as be a problem with the coin itself.
