I have these medals and tokens I know nothing about.

So, if anything looks familiar or you know anything about them, please educate me. Value doesn't matter because I'm sure there not worth much. I'm looking for who made them and when. I've had these a long time and have no idea where I got them. Something from my childhood I'm sure. I'll give a brief description as I go along since my image size is not large enough to see everything.

#1 Andrew Johnson President of the United States 1865- looks like copper.

#2 George Washington, first president 1789 - 1797, metal unknown.

#3 Andrew Jackson 17th president 1829 - 1837, metal unknown, lighter than copper.

#4 Sears New Century 1886 - 1986, made by SL/EIF inc. metal unknown.

    # 2 was issued by Shell Oil a few years back and was one of about seven that were free with a fill-up. Very common.

    # 3 was a copper version of a similar program back in the '60's and was made by the Franklin Mint. Very common.

    # 3 is a relic medal made by Sears in 1986 from copper from the Statue of Liberty. This was made in huge numbers.

#1 looks like it might be 19th century. If no one is familiar with it I'll try looking it up for you.

  • #1 is from the US Mint's Presidential Series. These are [usually] the inaugural medals but some early ones are the Indian Peace Medals. IIRC, these are still available from the Mint in small versions [about 1.5 inches] and large versions [about 3 inches].
