    ???????????
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.
  • The Peace Medal roll is about a nickel and a half shorter than the keelboat roll...I do not want to take these rolls apart to find out...they are the original wrapper and going to be rare...anyone who has noticed this I would appreciate your knowledge...Thank You.
  • The P-Mint 2004 Peace Reverse nickels are slightly thinner than the D-Mint Peace Reverse nickels because of the striking pressure. One such cited difference is that it can take 43 P-Mint coins to fill a tube, while only 40 D-Mint coins will fit. There are several auctions out there for "error" rolls stating this difference but in fact is not an error at all simply the pressure they were srtuck at. All of the coins weigh 5 grams.

  • J. Taylor Thank You ...another question would the 2004 P Nickel be a little bigger since the force of the pressure was different than the Denver mints!!! Thanks Again...sill the weight remains 5 grams but wouldn't the diamater change?
  • The diamater would remain the same because when the coin is struck it is surrounded by the collar, which keeps the coin from spreading out. If the coin was struck out of collar and the diamater changed (termed a broadstrike error) then the coin would be (should be) caught by the riddling machines and scraped for recycling. Not to mention, if the coins were larger in diamater they would not fit into the rolls.
