What's in YOUR wallet??

So, fess up...what are you carrying on you now?

I have $2.37 in the following change:

Sac dollar, 2001D.
Delaware quarter, D mint.
Michigan quarter, D mint.
Tennessee quarter, D mint.
1996D quarter.
1993D dime.
1965 dime.
1964D nickel.
1996D nickel.
2001D nickel.
2003D cent.
1978P cent.

I have two ones in my wallet as well, 1999 bank L and 1999 bank A.

Ain't it nice being self-employed where having $4 cash is a windfall??

I feel your pain - I live in Springfield, Missouri. It seems there is some imaginary boundary that keeps P mint coins from ever circulating here. Maybe one in a hundred here is P mint, and the distribution area for P mint ends just 250 miles from here (from what I understand the division is near the Mississippi River). Doesn't make good sense.

My father lives near Memphis, Tennessee. About half of their coins are P mint. Part of my growing up was there and I never had trouble completing modern date/mint sets from change.

I used to be a cash only type, but with debit terminals everywhere it is a rare occurence for me to carry more than $50. I understand about the people using charge cards, but with the way most merchants have things set now, using your debit card is just as quick as cash.

Let's see, my driver's license, credit card, bank card, insurance cards, 1 dollar in currency, and a spare key for the car. I used to have my ana card in there but figured that there was no point in that.

Nothing but plastic here. Circulated modern coinage doesn't concern me so I try to not get any change image
  • Drivers License, Social Security Card, and a Restrike of a 1780 Maria Thereasa Thaler in a Plastic flip that sets off the theft alarm at the Post Office every time. They laugh everytime i walk thru, one of the clerk's thot i had stolen stamps. And the second clerk laughed about it and told her I would be the last person to steal anything, So when it happened last week when i mailed a few coins to a forum member it went off as usual and we figured out thru due process of elimination it was the Thaler. she said some cell phones do that too.....Go figger?image

I carry no money in my wallet.

All money, when I carry any (which is rare) is in my pocket.
