Good source for Seated?

Hi All,

I guess it's been about a year since I've posted anything, my IHC MS collection is growing nicely due mainly to Rick Snow and a great board member who put me on the right track several years ago (Thanks Paul H!) I'm considering adding to some seated pieces I have, 25c, 50c and s1$'s, and I'm wondering if there are any real standout dealers anyone could recommend. I am looking mainly for pcgs slabbed coins (though not entirely essential) and mainly for grades from XF to AU+. If anyone has any off the beaten trail suggestions I certainly would appreciate it! You're all a great bunch of people and I enjoy immensely the opportunity to relax and peruse the boards quite regularly. I am already a Liberty Seated Club member and would also highly recommend it to anyone who has any interest in seated coinage. Sorry if this is inappropriate for this forum, just looking for info.

Thanks in advance!

Rob

My favorite sources of seated materials are Dick Osburn, Liz Goggins at JJ Teaparty and the various auction houses. I collect only seated dimes in higher grades.

I have to agree with Dismeguy on Dick and Liz, but I would add Brian Greer, Jim O'Donnell and Dave Olmsted, aka Alpine.

For really nice original material with no problems in those grades, I like the people at JJ Teaparty and occasionally Paul Battaglia at Rare Coins of New Hampshire. Both firms really are helpfull in avoiding the subtle problems these older seated coins so often have, and getting "eye appealing" original seated coins--only they 'em sell pretty quick!

I can certainly recommend Dick Osburn at www.dickosburn.com

I have also had favorable dealings with Teaparty and Alpine. However, Dick's selection is amazing.
    Go well.

I just recently re-started my seated dime collection and recently started looking for good sources myself.

I was amazed by Dick Osburn's selection and I know he's had many high recommendations. I was thinking about placing an order with him, but he's local to the Houston area and should be at next month's Houston Money Show, so I figured I'd just wait until then and bring my Dansco album, some cash and a checkbook (and maybe some coins to sell elsewhere!). I'm sure he'll separate me from some of my loot!
