  • Turkey, 5 Piastres KM599, AH1223 YR25. Struck in .170 silver.
  • Well, From looking at it, at least what i can find in the Krause Book, it's a Turkish KURUSH or RUPEE The Denomination i can't tell, it was minted in Zurbia, Constantinople , Turkey, There are several types, is it a silver coin? or Gold? also it appear to have been struck in the around the early 1900's, The New Krause-Mishler Book, better knowns as 2005 Standard Catalog of World Coins is a Must.

In other words, circa 1833 AD, about .0425 of an ounce of silver.

but wasn't sure if it was just plated or what.
