Ever lose track of a coin? I had the following missing for several months and just found them. Whew!
All NGC
1950 50c Pr67 Cam
1950 25c Pr67 Cam
1950 1c Pr66 Ucam
1960 5c Pr69 UCam
1958 1c Pr69 UCam
1958 1c Pr68 UCam
Can't describe the relief. The thought of losing the key coins from the hobby was almost greater than the irritation of the $ loss.
All well now.

I had a coin I spent a few days finding after seeing a thread here about one of them. I have since sent it to another member to get his opinion on it!

All the freakin' time.
But it makes "spring cleaning" interesting... sorta like a treasure hunt!
But I'm not as successful at finding the ones I misplace, particularly as a metal detector isn't very helpful inside a mobile home...

The last one I found in the clothes dryer.

In all cases exept one, the puppies have always come home. The one exception is a coin that was lifted by a dealer (no flaming please). I learned a valuable lesson - keep track of your coins when in a public place - dealer or no dealer. That is the place where your coins are most at risk. I now keep slabs in full boxes - that way a missing coin is easily visible.

Now I put the location of each coin in the inventory spreadsheet.

I lost a shotgun roll of BU 41 Mercs somewhere in my house over a year ago. I qave up looking quite awhile back, but I know they are here somewhere

I am curious why you would carry around a 1900 $5 gold piece. Is it your lucky coin?

The box only held 32 slabs, so I put the remaining slab, PCGS PR62, in an Eagle binder and
promptly forgot about it. Took six months to figure out where I left it.
