1859 cent grading question

Like i was saying a while ago i was thinking i got a 1859 in xf grade at work a while ago. the detail is sharp with full liberty in the head band and all. but i think i made a key mistake. when i got it i put it in those whitman clip books first before i got to know about the 2x2. now theback side with the reef is a blue color. ( like part of the backing went on the coin). im not the type to attempt restoring it or definately not cleaning it oh no no no. but what are my options?what can i do with this coin. cause of the blue backing going on the coin will the coin now be a EF-40 detail net grade VG-20 cause of it.

Get it slabbed reverse side up, and sell it for 10x its usual value. Then get yourself a nice AU 1859, and bank the rest of the money.

cant sell it for 10x , no die breaks or anything no doubling. maybe 1 or 2 dumb ebay people MAYBE but thats all i would have . i just dont know if this would effect final grade?or if theres a way to get this blue stuff off the coin whtout damaging it. or is this a costly lesson

I have a small, free lesson...that thing on the reverse of your coin is not a "reef." It is a "wreath."
