Anybody collect these?

1955 Topps Rails and Sails; I picked up a low number Rails set (1-80) for about $2.50 a card. It was advertised as mint, and I would say they are at least Nrmt/mt! I jjust picked this card out to scan because it was on top of the stack. I'm not sure whether I'm going to send these in for grading, or hold off and try to collect the entire set, which I understand is quite difficult.

I was going to make a joke and say...if you send me a few, then I too collect'm. But seriously, the set looks real good and even tho advertised as mint - they look great and at 2.50 a piece - wow! What more can you ask.
I remember the BBCKid had a pack for 295$ on his website a while back.
Also Mastronet had an uncut sheet sale with "test" stamps for 1800$:
They also had the original artwork for card #193 go for 630$
Well Mark, just another set to ponder and think about collecting. Thanx for sharing and good luck if you decide to complete the set.

If you notice Mark, the sails part of the set are borderless!
Have not anything like that before.

Sent them out today Mike. I havn't figured out yet how GAI comes up with their pack grades, but they looked nice to me.

I'll post the grading results when I get them. Not sure if I'll be selling any, but that's why I put my other pack up for sale. I figured I had enough of them.
