A few questions on PCGS submission

1. Do I need to pay separate shipping for each type of submission? The form
says I must fill out a separate form for each type, does that mean I pay separate
shipping even if all the service levels are economy?

2. How does the quarterly specials work? There is no checkbox on the submission
form for these.

3. What is the correct forum for asking these types of questions? image

    1. Yes you pay separate shipping for each invoice. If they are all the same level service, why put them on separate invoices?

    2. Agree with answer below.

    3. You can also ask PCGS through e-mail. There is a link from the submission center page Text
Give Blood (Red Bags) & Platelets (Yellow Bags)!
  • If I understand you... 1.)If they are all economy,... then they are all one type of submission, unless they exceed the minimum allowable dollar value.

    Here's an example:

I have a submission with 2 regrades and 5 cross-overs. I also have one new submission.

According to the instructions, there are 3 types of submissions and require 3 forms.

If my service level (not the same as the type) is the same for all the forms, can I put
shipping on just one of the forms?

The free quarterly submission says you need a separate form AND separate shipping.

    1. Yes, separate shipping for each invoice. And since only one service level per invoice... But if you are doing all economy, just put them on one invoice
    2. They operate as a regular submission. Just write quarterly freebie on the form
    3. Here is good. image

No. if it's clear they are more valuable than $300 they have to be done as a regular submission.
  • I e-mailed customer service and got my answer:

Since these are all separate services they would need to be put on separate submission forms. You would need to pay the return postage for all the orders. The only way you can really save money is by shipping them to us in one package so you can save money that way.

If you have any further questions, please contact us.

So I think this sort of sucks. This means that if I put together a submission with one
regrade and 5 cross-overs, I have to pay separate shipping, even though the coins
    are all economy service image

Or, you could just crack everything out and submit it all "raw" image

They're moderns. They can't possibly be worth over $300.
