Card Storage

I think Santa is shopping at MJ Roop this year!! (actually my wife is tired of stacks of cards all over the place.....)

How does everyone store cards in binders??....do you place the card in the 9 card sheet or put it in a penny sleeve first? It doesnt seem like the penny sleeve will fit in the 9 card sheet....maybe the 8 card sheets made for the 52 Topps size cards?

Any advice is helpful....thanks and Happy Holidays

  • I just got two Roop binders this week, 1975 and 1977 Topps. I already have a 1976. They are great binders. I put the cards right in the pages (Ultra-Pro), no sleeves. I only use sleeves for cards in top loaders.

  • The standard penny sleeves don't work well with the 9-page sheets. You've gotta splurge and pick up the Premium sleeves (at least, that's what Ultra-Pro calls 'em). They fit perfectly. The problem with just sticking 'em in the pages without the sleeves, is that it does wear on the gloss.
