Does anyone have any idea as to the value ?
I checked ebay's completed auctions but don't see anything there, Hopefully someone has a ballpark figure.

I believe Mark Murphy has packs now for around three bills. The packs, in my opinion, are too expensive today given the price drop of all of the cards in the set from a couple of years ago. Back in 98 or so I had some fun with the packs at about $175 to $200; that was when the Jordan rookie was crazy and graded cards of the other rookies were relatively high when compared to today's prices. Since the Jordan rookie craze of the late 90s, I would assume a lot of the product has been opened and now made unopened packs more scarce and thus the higher price. Still, for my money, $300 a pop is too expensive for these today.
Thats 300.00 knowing the pack has a jordan ?
Packcollector,
i believe one just went for 2400.00 in the memory lane auction.( gai 8 ). i have one thats a 7.5 (gai) with the jordan.
I was thinking of selling it but was amazed @ the 2400. price realized. I had actually thought of cracking it and trying for a high grade on the Jordan by either submitting to to sgc or gai and trying for a 9.5 or possibly psa for a 10.
But alas i cannot bring myself to take that leap.
Would anyone out there crack it open ?

I agree with Mefer - those packs with respect to centering, slight corner touch etc. are all over the place - you could pull a 10 or you could pull a 7....the gamble dictates selling sealed IMO.

I did see the lot of 6 86 Fleer GAI packs close at $2200. With BP, that's actually $400 a pack! Too much gamble for that price.

Boy do I ever agree! Remember when these were about 100$/pack? And I thought they were too much then!
