Bought The PSA1 Hitler's Border Tour Card.

Well I bought the HOW #277 Hitler's Border Tour Card and the best part is I beat a last minute snipe by just 6 cents. I had put a bid in early on the card and got outbid. Then as a lark I put in a bid of $37.83 thinking that I would definitely get outbid. A last minute snipe of $37.77 came in and my bid held. I have never beaten a snipe by such a small amount. The card is a duplicate (I have a better one that hasn't been graded yet). Even though it's low grade it's still a desirable card similar to a PSA1 Mantle, Ruth or Gehrig.
So I have some trade bait. I would buy HOW Hitler cards for under $40.00 every day of the week.

Wish I knew how to upload scans to message boards. I'm under the impression that you need a web hosting site to do that. If anyone can explain the process to me I'd be glad to do that. Anyway I've received the HOW #277 and am very happy with the purchase.

Thanks for sharing scans. I never knew about these cards. Who printed them? Great Britain or USA?

The cards were printed in both the USA and Canada. I don't have any Canadian HOW cards but I'm attaching a scan of WIA (American) and Fighting Forces (Canadian). The fronts of the cards are identical. The backs have the same numbering and text. The main difference between the two is that the Canadian cards have Grey Backs, the notation "Printed In Canada" and some French text at the bottom.

Here is a scan of the front of the cards. The American WIA card is graded PSA3. The Canadian card is raw.
