Can someone help?

Hi all. I've been reading here for about a month or so. I have a question maybe some of you can answer for me. I have some baseball cards of my son for the last 6 or 7 years. Does PSA or anyone grade these kinds of cards? I am just thinking it would be a cool birthday gift for my son to have his own cards graded and in holders. If not, can anyone make them somehow? Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't think PSA does this. No harm in calling customer service and asking. Why don't you just put them in some nice screw downs and print you own label for them?
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!
  • Thanks DH. I guess I just had my head set on the nice little holder with the grade on top that it never crossed my mind. I guess I'll look around and see where I can get the screw downs. I don't know of a single place around here to get such a thing. I appreciate the reply.

Another member here actually DID have PSA grade his son's baseball card. He even posted a picture of it. You might want to call PSA customer service and ask.
  • Just gave them a ring. They say they won't do it. I guess I'm stuck on the screw downs. Thanks for the help guys. I've sure learned alot reading here. Maybe one day my ship will come in and I can learn more about this and get into it more. My son is 13 years old and has around 50,000 cards right now. I couldn't tell ya if there was one in there worth anything other than a , dare I say, Bonds rookie. Although the centering is not that great it's a pretty neat card for a kid. Thanks again for the input.

i have my sons card slabbed. Click on my web page link at the bottom to see it. Joe did this for me at the 03 sportsfest in chicago. It is, by far, my favorite card!!!

  • That is exactly what I am looking for. I think it will be a really cool thing for him to have when he is older. He eats and sleeps baseball. He's a pitcher and just loves the game. I'm going to come up with something one way or the other. THat is a cool card of your son. It might be worth a mint someday.

thanks! Joe told me that they wouldn't grade it, but just slab it. That was fine with me. It only cost me 5 bucks. Too bad they are not doing that anymore. Seems to be a good PR move.
