He seems to have quite a collection. Dont you think some one with these cards would know that a psa graded card would bring a lot more. Doesnt seem to have one grading company he likes and to beat all when I asked about his mantle rookies he replied saying he was a lawyer and would never sell fake cards. Thoughts?

    When it comes to Mantles there is one rule to live and die by....if it ain't graded, don't buy it. End of discussion.

    The only other place I have seen the white pop rivet holders is with fakes on ebay....
    He has some authentic cards and some questionable ones. Lawyers have often been known for having more dollars than sense.

    Something I learned in law school, in ethics class (yes, really it's a required class) was that if you have to ask if it's ethical it probably isn't. Same goes on cards... if you have to ask if it's legit, it's probably not. Words to live by from an honest lawyer. Peace, happy holidays, etc....

    JCMANTLE is a scam artist!!!

    He lives about an hour from me and when I asked if I could come up to personally view the 51 Bowman Mantle he had in his screw down holder his reply was "thats a very unusual request for an ebay auction" for which I replied "can I view the card in person". I tried to contact him twice more but he simply wouldnt respond to me.

    Just my two cents....

    From what I've experienced myself and from other people's stories I have read, If the seller claims to be an authority figure of some sort.... ie, Cop, federal agent, government worker (lawyer?) and then says because of thier profession they would never rip someone off; They're a crook every time. It's kinda like the used car sales man that says.... "Ya know what friend? Let me be honest with you."

    they're really not my friend?!?!?!?
    I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
