Help! PSA Grade of these 1962 Brock Rookie Cards

Hi
Which of these two grade better - and would either grade as a "7"?
These are posted on EBay by sellers with good feedbacks, and both claiming NM grades.
You guys rock!

I like the first one better - but the scan really is woefully inadequate. Bug the seller to get a better scan.

Neither one has a chance at a 7 (again scan on the first is too hard to tell corner wear....).

The second one, because of the upper left corner, would probably be a PSA 5 or a PSA 6. It's unfortunate, because the rest of the card is pretty nice.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Here are some enhanced scans of Brock 1 from the seller.
It's looking like a 5 to me. What do you guys think?

SK..........My guess on the 1st one based on your enlarged scan , is that it would get no better than a Psa 4 ..........The 2nd one might get a Psa 5 if the surface gloss is nice ! Good luck if you decide to bid on these !...............Robby

    Brock #1 - PSA 5 at best.

    Brock #2 - PSA 6 at best.

Thanks for "saving me". Since I'm saving these for "posterity" , I want good quality stuff.
Lou Brock was simply the greatest among a bunch of Cardinals greats in the 60s/70s, and a big part of growing up in St. Louis (yes I know he started with the Cubs).

Anyone know where I can find a decent NM7+ card for a fair price?

I once had a '67 Clemente grade out at a 6 that had a softer corner than the second Brock.

But with the wood-grained border on the '62s, that corner really stands out. I'd say 5 likely, 6 best case.

'62 Brock doesn't look great under any circumstances, just because of the poor print quality and horrible photo. So you look at the corners and centering. What do you consider a fair price for PSA 7?

i owned this one raw for several years.. i just got it graded recently and sold it for $650.00.. i kinda regret selling it.. i also have a suspicion that it could end up in a PSA 9 holder for somebody else..

    PA,

Your scan did not go through. Can you resend.

Nice 8. Great centering. May be worthwhile to send it in up to 10 times to see if it can become a 9.

The left edge on #2 bothers me a lot. It does not look straight.
