Crazy Ebay seller?

This guy, edwardjamesstorescom, keeps listing cards from the early 80's for unusually high prices. Nobody seems to be bid (unless they make a mistake) so why does he keep listing? It seems the listing fees would cost him a lot!? Or since he has an Ebay store does he not pay listing fees? He has all kinds of early 80's HOF'ers in PSA 8 generally starting at $19.99.

This gentleman is a major retailer on the 'bay. Judging from the last 2 days of auctions, I would say the cards are not his primary market. He probably puts them out there either as a link to his other merchandise or just in the hopes of getting a customer to put an add-on to their order.

But you're right - he doesn't sell a whole lot.

He says in his description he got a lot of over 500 graded cards. probably a couple bucks each, likely a lot less. He listed them high, got a few suckers then relisted lower so if they sell it dosn't cost him anything more. If they don't sell this time he will probably continue bumping the price down until they sell. He has some fair prices now. PSA 9 Fleer Ripken rookie $49.00 -you could probably sell that at a show.
