Eddy, I've got that seller on my Ebay blacklist. I don't know why, but if s/he's on my list, it means someone from this forum at one time had a significant problem with the seller -- I try as best I can to log all the names that come up. Why don't you search the forum for that Ebay name and see what comes up?

Thanks alot!!!! I will cause he had this 55 D/D penney that looked to good to be true. It was like 730.00 or more. I just don't want to spend more than a few bucks and get shafted. I think auction is over now. But i will check them out. Appreciate the reply!

of a little photoshop magic? (We've got a lot of that around here of late.) I'm not saying you shouldn't bid -- just
take some extra precautions if you do.

If that coin was unholdered and on ebay, I would run like wind. There are MANY MANY amazing fake examples of this date around. Some of them are die struck and look almost perfect! Someone posted a link on this forum to a website detailing the differences between the real thing and a fake one. I WOULD NOT BID ON THIS AUCTION UNLESS YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

Ha! It was unholdered. Good advice, Liberator. I don't collect errors, but even to my untrained error eyes, it looks too good to be true. So there you have it, eddyemack -- be thankful you didn't drop the Benjamins on this one.

You can block certain sellers on eBay's search engine so that you never see their auctions.
