First the photo. A 1956 Franklin was for sale at Heritage tonight in an NGC 1956 Pr67Dam holder. It was listed as a Type 1 and went for about $400. The eagle looks Type 2 however. Either this was less than good deal on a T2 or I missed a great deal on a T1.
For the 1950 -1964 proofs, the pricing seems to be firm to increasing for the higher grade coins. I bid on a 1960 SD Pr68Dcam Lincoln that seemed to be priced lower, but was not given away. The prices on the rest of the coins I checked seemed to be higher than six months ago. I picked up a couple of Franklins (1962 and 1963 Pr68Dcam) that I don't need except they looked to be high in grade with very good eye appeal.

A Type 1 in PR67DCAM would bring one hell of a lot more money than $400. That one looks like a Type 2 to me, so somebody probably paid too much.
