Geez...

The auction was over 2 1/2 weeks ago and I finally get the invoice today...I call to give them a credit card number and they say they will have to charge me an additional 2% on the balance (after I paid them $850 in juice no less)...I said screw it, I'll send a check and wait for the package to arrive sometime near the New Year.
So what is it with U.S. dealers and auction houses being so paranoid? I win something from an auction in Germany, having never dealt with them before, and they send the items to me BEFORE I get a bill..... go figger!!

Isn't it illegal for an auction company to tack on a 2% fee for credit card transactions? (Rather, Specifically against Visa/Mastercard TOS) >>
In my State it is.
