1913 Buff Nic Doubling ?

Take a look at this. Is it just me or does the facial profile look doubled ?

Definitely looks doubled but it could just be a bad image. image
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

It's mechanical doubling - there are an awful lot of early Buffalo Nickels out there that show it. Unfortunately, it is the result of loose parts in the coining press. Consequently, it does not increase the coin's value.

  • It may be mechanical doubling, but the date lookes very cool with the 9 split.
