toning possibilities(silver coins) in whitman classic?

is there a good sulphur content in unused old time, whitman classic albums? Do copper coins have a potential to spot in these?

I have an old whitman folder for Roosevelts that goes from 1946 up to sometime in the 70's. The silver dimes are toning nicely. The color of toning seems to depend on which page the coin is located. I don't know the answer to the copper coin question.
