I hate it when I give myself ideas...

Earlier today I responded to someone asking for ideas to get a nice CC minted coin. Somewhat off the cuff I responded that a circulated CC-mint "denomination set" would be pretty cool. The problem is, I decided myself that I wanted to do it! I figured that VF/XF would be good, and I'd take nice Fines and affordable AUs where I found them.

Well, I started searching the requisite eBay archives and saw a nice, original 1877-CC dime offered by noted Seated Dime authority Gerry Fortin. It's a nice, original VF -- dang, how could I resist this starter piece? It's possible I'll want to upgrade, but I want this "set" to be mostly VF/XF. Ultimately I'd like to get all different dates as I mentioned in my own response to the original thread...but this is a very nice original piece for a little over twenty bucks. For the mostpart I'm shooting for a higher grade, but this is a wonderful original piece to start with.
