This coin is the thickness of a dime, and has a fully reeded edge. It's dated 1965.

It does look sharp for a clad which has split but I don't think I've seen one where the core was so unaffected.

was worn to VF. I still see '70-D quarters struck on dime stock with a lot of wear and
these won't even work in vending machines! People aren't used to looking at their
change anymore and most believe there is nothing scarce in circulation so every year
all the coins just get a little thinner and less numerous. ...so it goes.
