Canadian P-L set help

I bought a bunch of 1962 Canadian prooflike sets on EBay and they came sealed in an original shipping wrapper with a 1962 postmark. Should I open them to see what they coins are like or are they more valuable unopened?

My guess would be that because so many of the 1962 sets have spots on the cents that people would be leary to buy unopened packages. I know I paid a little premium to get a set with a nice red cent in it.

I would like to see what the package looks like. The sets are fairly common individually, but a bunch of them in the original packaging are not.
