Here's a "nearly" holey item that some holey coin lovers might enjoy. It's an 1876-CC Seated Half, possibly cleaned based on the pictures, but with choice AU details and an "attempted" hole in the coin (which can easily be completed by someone with the desire). It's currently at $24.50 (including shipping) and ends in 2 1/2 hours (3:00 PM PST/6:00 PM EST).
I know we have a few holey coin fans here, so I thought this one might be of interest to some. I have no connection to this coin or the seller -- I just thought some holed coin fans might be interested.

Yeah. But if it had to happen to a CC coin, better that it be one of the few CC coins that's more or less a common date worth type coin value and little more. I mean, it could have been a CC-mint Seated Dollar, or a CC-mint Seated coin with arrows....
Plus, I thought the holey fans might like to add a (might as well be) holey CC coin to their collection if they don't yet have one.
