Need Some Expert Opinions On This 1954-S Washington

Below is a PCGS MS66 1954-S Washington quarter. I've always been curious as to what caused the straight line going across the obverse. It is not a scratch and doesn't really look like something caused from end roll toning. Anybody care to give me your best guess?

It was on the fold in the pink mint set paper.

My expert opinion is that is a nice looking quarter!

I would guess Don nailed the reason for the line.

To be technical they used green paper in 1954
