<< <i>bet you never thought you'd see a Panch Herrera error card go for under $30, huh? >>
ajw I believe the error card is lacking the a at the end of the name and this is the corrected card. IMO, these are not error cards but simply misprints and worthless except as a novelty.
Considering Repub posted the Eddie card....for those who are not familiar and want to know "how the heck does that happen?"...there are three separate color overprints/plates...here is a color acetate break from Topps and a "proof" card of the Scooter from the 1952 Topps Reprint set:
As you can see, during the printing, the sheet shifted and thus the "blurred" vision thing - just get out your 3-D glasses!
Mike, thanks for the info...I guess my sarcasm didn't come through to clearly. I thought it was kind of ironic that the lot had a Herrera and the listing called them errors. I know they're not really errors, but they are kind of interesting. Especially the Mathews.
Here's a question: Would PSA even grade the Mathews?

Drew I knew you were just messin around...but we do have a lot of new collectors who wouldn't have picked up on the irony of your post...and then I wanted to take the moment to indicate how something like this could happen...again to the new collectors who might benefit....heck - when I started collecting, I was clueless about this kind of stuff! Thanx your friend Mike

<< <i>The front of the card was triple stamped as you can see by the picture below >>
What is this guy talking about - everybody knows you can't triple stamp a double stamp.
Quitsies, no anti-quitsies, startsies, no erasies, double stamp it.
