If I got it at face value, I'd toss it in the safes with the rest of the hoard, if I had to pay over face value, I'd pass.
  • all my paper currency minus 1 bill has been all at FV. my 2 1934 series $100s my 1928 and 1934 series 20$s and my hoard of $200 in $10 1934A series bills. i just wonder how you all deal with old money. do you use it for trade bait or what

If I knew what "B-2 BA block" meant I might have a better idea. imageimage

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

B-2 means the 2nd national Bank. there are 12 national banks all together from A1 to L12. B-2 means New York.

BA block is the letters on the bill . B9999 9999A is a lower number than B 0000 0001 B cause a BA block is always printed before a BB or BH or BR block.

Except they are called "Federal Reserve Banks," not "national banks."

I'd spend it. Very little of the 20th century currency has much of any value circulated...too common.

  • I got a 1934 $100 in change a couple of years ago in not so good shape and was wondering what to do with it. It is always worth face but any premium? My dilemma as well.
