Is this on purpose?

While looking at some coins on Heritage I noticed this auction. Which shows no "Previous Prices from Heritage Auction". When in fact if you click on View prices realized from this item in other grades it shows the SAME coin, before it was upgraded, which sold 6 months prior.

Is this on purpose?

Well, given the coin is a high R7, there are probably not too many floating around. I am not surprised that it is the only one that they have had, twice. What does surprise me is the 2 point jump in grade. What's up with that PCGS?

I'm afraid that I haven't been able to focus on your question with your sig line picture distracting me..... image

Very likely just a programming snafu. The previous sales are probably looking for the same certification number. If the coin was upgraded, it will have a different number, thus the program considers it a separate coin.
