This cent comes from our own Carl W. Just got it in the mail a few minutes ago. He wasn't kidding when he talked about how cool this one looked!

My guess would be that it's from the Randall hoard. I like it.

well, that was a gift. i,d swear it was a 58.
no matter what the insert says, its a great coin.

My understanding is that it is indeed from the Randall hoard. I am not an expert on grading large cents but it looks similar to other coins I've seen that PCGS has graded MS.
