Not likely, though I can fill in a lot. The only thing is - Will is picking these up on ebay for less than the cost of grading, so it's really to nobody's benefit for me to try to fill holes yet.

Good to hear from you. Did you ever grade any of the cards that I sent you? Are you looking for anything else in particular? I'll see what I can find.

Best of luck to both of you!

  • yeah, i don't plan on making a run at submitting cards until i run out of crap to buy on ebay....which won't be for awhile. i'm perfectly happy buying PSA 9's and 10's from 4 sharp and the like for now. eventually, i'll start buying some insert cards (refractors, Flair Legacy, etc) and submit them.

  • John,

depending what oddball stuff you had, i might be interested in some PSA 9's. i usually pay $10 each for oddball junk.

i like the high activity this thread has received, only 1720 posts behind the nolan thread!

  • Just curiously ran across this thread, and happened to notice that there is no Ryne Sandberg set on the registry. If anyone is looking for holes or gaps to fill in (as far as finding card issues), PM me as i have the alphabetical checklist up to 2001. It really helped me alot on gathering Lou Brock card info, before PSA added him to the registry. I assume since there isn't a Sandberg yet, that is maybe the purpose of this thread? If anyone needs anything, like i said, LMK. If not, sorry to barge in. Thanx! E
  • Cadillac,

Virtualizard made me a comprehensive master list of Sandberg cards; i just haven't gotten a chance to submit it to BJ yet. whenever the semester ends and i have some free time, i plan on creating Basic and Master sets and getting them up and running. i'm not really in any hurry, since it seems that adding sets to the Registry always creates new interest on ebay. i'm still enjoying picking up PSA 9's for $3-$5.

When does Ryno come up for the HOF? Next year?
  • GR189, you are right about ebay. I was studying up on a Lou Brock basic set, and many others (that aren't on the registry yet) for months before PSA added it. Now his cards are up about 25-30% from what they were selling at before. Oh well, a little competition never hurts. Thanx!! E
