Another Irish Florin

But I might have made the seller mad at me by the email I sent him. In his listing he claims the 2005 Krause lists this coin at $50.00 unc when in fact Krause has it at $40.00 unc. I also asked him how the coin was lightly cleaned. If it's not too bad I wouldn't care cause the strike and rims look great!

Lightly clean and his pictures really don;t show the coin that good. It looks like I can see harilines or light scratches. I'd pass.

Cleaned without question, and probably harshly so. Look at the lines running horizontally below "florin" along the NW-SE axis on the rear half of the salmon and horizontally to the lower left of the harp.

The seller's response to his negative feedback does not engender confidence.

Red flags all over this auction. The coins show up often enough you can wait for a good one.
