Souvenir Sets Question

Since the mints were closed to the general public for ours after 9/11 and then re-opened for tours with congressional sponsorship, does anybody know if the Mint Stores are still open and do they still sell souvenir sets for the production year?

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

They haven't made any souvenir sets since 1998. At that time it was stated that the
logistics of providing the sets with the states quarters was just too complicated. They
did announce earlier this year that they intend to provide a very similar product next
year, though it remains to be seen just how similar it will really be. There has been some
speculation that this idea has already been nixed, but I've seen no official word.
