  • Why does this PCSS grading company use Coin World holders?

I'm glad to see that you finally figured out how to make the labels you were asking about in this thread:

  • I am in the wrong business. There seems to be huge profits to be made in paper.image

  • Haha. This is kind of funny image

    December 9th

Q: "What can i use to make a 1.5"x10/16" label?:
    A: "Gee, what's that for?"
Response: "Im slabbing my own coin for my collection."

    December 10th

    "I have (2) 1884-S Morgan Silver Dollars that i would grade MS60"

And then the post was curiously edited....hmmmmmmm

  • When I first responded you were saying that the coins were certified by Professional Coin something or another, I can't recall the stupid acronym that you were using. What happened to that part of the post?

  • It was Professional Coin Slabbing Service before they edited it. Now it says that they grade it MS60 but the title still says cert MS60. I guess anyone can certify their own coins now. And use a church to validate their self-certifying.

So, we've now seen these MS60 coins, IF they are not cleaned or otherwise altered, what grade would you give these coins?
The jump from XF40 to AU50 to MS60 is HUGE!image

  • Okay wait, so let's get this straight....

This dude asked us how to make his own labels, said they were for his personal collection, and then one day later posted an advertisement for some high-grade Morgans that were supposedly slabbed by a legitimate grading company. And then when he was called on it, he edited his post and asked others to stop "spamming" his page?

All from a guy with a picture of his church sign in his signature?

I believe this may just be an all-time low :/

Hmmm,I can't seem to find the pics of the coins he is trying to sell on his link.,perhaps they were deleted?image
I think we have a scammer.
  • I would not worry about pics of his coins so much as his inability to grade- sent a pm to him on the other batch he wants to sell- 6 emails back n forth and still no pics or even a asking price. What gives Matt- trying to play sill ball with us on the BS&T?

So now we have a BCGS. image

Sorry, it isn't certified if it is a one-man operation in holders that can be EASILY tampered with, not to mention the overgrading. It is just deception. Typical scumbag Ebay seller.
