Cuban Souvenir Peso

Does anyone have any information on the 1897 Cuban Souvenir peso? Was is struck in 1897, or at a later date? How come it's not listed in the new Krause, but it is in the old ones? What kind of value do they have?

There were a total of 10k struck at two different locations and there are three main varieties. Variety 1 (958, 30 destroyed) was struck at the Dunn Air-Brake Co. in Philadelphia. It has the inscription "PAT 97" on the truncation of the bust. Variety 2 (4286) and Variety 3 (4856) were struck at the Providence Mint, Providence RI. The star to the right of the 7 on variety 2 is low and there is an H at the bottom right of the shield on the reverse. On Variety 3, the star is higher and the is no H on the shield. I think yours is Variety 2.
