Ahh, sweet youth. Lee, my young friend, that is a very stoned Paul McCartney in the suitcase.image

The set, though, is incredibly cool. As you may know, that suitcase cover was a slap dash affair to replace the famous "butcher block" cover.

Will PSA grade those? Maybe GAI?

Edited to add: BTW, the original drummer was Pete Best. Also, some of us oldsters may remember that the Beatles dreamed up a free concert idea to accompany the release of the White Album. The original stateside release had a black, seven digit number stamped on the cover, and, supposedly, the first 50,000 (or whatever) in the series entitled the owner to a ticket. The number on my album is 0001334. The most valuable White Albums are those with numbers under a 1000; the next valuable tier is the one my album falls in, obviously still pretty hard to come by.image

    Hi Lee
Unbelievable set! Brings back memories...who saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan when they debuted.
I was looking for stuff and this nostalgia got me to wantin' to post my graduation pic in 1979 from Columbia U in NYC! It was a great school and they provided me with a great profession.

Anyone else have their grad pics?

Are these albums the same as the Chu-Bop albums?

Contrary to the original Bops, the lyrics are on the back cover of the album and the album does not fold open, as did the original CHU-BOPS™ gums

    I'm confused.....apparently these Beatles mini-albums are re-makes of the "original" Chu-bops.

yeah im pretty sure i used to have some, and might still have them around here somewhere.. i think i "inherited" them from my older brother back in the mid 80's.. he went in the army and left me with a bunch of stuff.. mostly rubber-banded 1978 and 1985 topps football..

  • Hi Beatles fans,

whilst not strictly cards, I picked these up at an antique fair last weekend. They are from an original desktop calender.
