  • Nice job on the 1979 and 1980 hockey. Did you get the grades you were expecting?

Nice to see there's absolutely no rhyme or reason to this...

They don't even have my late-November collectors' special submissions ENTERED yet.

I sent a box the day after Thanksgiving with 2 submissions in it, the Nov. CC special shipped back to me yesterday. The Premium? ($10/card) does not have grades up yet.

    Did I leave anything out?
  • Mine was received on 11/23 and still nothing. I don't understand this. I did send in a mix of both sport and non-sport. I wonder if this has anything to do with the delay. I don't follow their reasoning when someone is waiting 3 weeks and another gets their grades in 2 days or a week. It should be first in first out. I am sure they are watching this forum and see there is a problem.
  • PSA logged in my cards on the 23rd also, STTIIIIIILLLLLL waiting. I know they have up to 30 business days or more for the $5 special but you tend to lose your patience when you see people getting 11 day turnarounds AFTER psa logged in your own submission. Oh well, maybe they are taking there time with my submission and I'll finally get the grades I deserve.......ALL 10's!!!!!

If you mean grown men running around chasing little pieces of cardboard for ridiculous amounts of money?

I do not know why they think the card is trimmed. It is identical in size to other 79 Topps football cards. I was expecting a 10 on this card as it has perfect centering and corners.

This card was opened from a rack pack by myself around 1980. I had bought about 10 rack packs (still have two left) from a local convenience store back then and just put all of the cards in a box as I did with most of the cards I bought. Well, I guess they saw something that they thought was suspect.

By the way, the same goes for the Warren Moon card. I opened wax boxes and just put the cards aside.

    Thanks,

How about resubmitting it sometime later on?

If a submission hasn't been entered, PSA may have it set aside in a problem area. I had to call 2 or 3 times before a PSA employee walked to the room where they kept theorder and then entered it the next day for me. This could be one of many reasons why an order hasn't been entered.
